The Journey The 2023 Afrelib Tech Challenge brought together students nationwide to tackle pressing environmental issues through innovation. The competition spanned several months, with participants advancing through rigorous stages, from concept development to project execution, showcasing their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Achievements The challenge received over 500 submissions, with the top 10 projects presented at the grand finale. Participants demonstrated exceptional ingenuity in addressing global challenges such as climate action, food security, and water scarcity, fostering a deeper commitment to sustainability and innovation among the youth.
The Winning Project The winning project, an IoT Farm Irrigation and Monitoring Robot by Premier Team II, revolutionized smart agriculture by optimizing water use and monitoring crop health. This innovative solution, aligning with global sustainability goals, highlights the transformative potential of technology in creating a greener future.
